Introducing the KurrentDB MCP Server

Exciting news! The KurrentDB MCP Server is now available. The MCP server is lightweight, extensible, and allows interaction with KurrentDB using natural language via AI assistants, such as Claude, or your preferred IDE.

As an MIT-licensed, open-source project, the MCP Server welcomes contributions, feedback, discussions, and forks from the community. Extend it, modify it… go nuts. Links to the KurrentDB MCP Server can be found in the blogs.

Wow… this is awesome news. I’ve been using AGENTS.md files to handle all of my Kurrent agent interactions. I’ve got a bunch of random ones for doing mundane tasks. But the way I have them set up it’s not convenient to automate.

MCP will make it significantly easier. I’ll try setting this up later and let you know how it goes.
